After the evasi0n Jailbreak, here comes the official Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1.2 using the Official sn0wbreeze 2.9.10 version. Though there are a lot of tools you may already know to Jailbreak your iOS Device, but there is an advantage of Sn0wbreeze or Redsn0w over the evasi0n tool by evad3rd team.

How-to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 using Sn0wbreeze

Step 1 : Click here to download the latest version of Sn0wbreeze 2.9.10. [For Windows Only]

Note : For windows 8 users, you need to also install the .Net Framework 3.5 or higher on your PC. [Download link]

Step 2 : Download the iOS 6.1.2 Firmware File. Simply select the correct ISPSW file for your device:

Step 3 : Now connect your iOS Device to the PC. Also make sure that the Firmware your iDevice is running must be supported by the current version of Sn0wbreeze.

Step 4 : Extract the Sn0wbreeze on your Desktop and Run the .exe file from inside the Sn0wbreeze archive.

Step 5 : Now follow the ON-Screen Instructions shown on the Sn0wbreeze tool screen and “Browse the IPSW File” and choose the appropriate firmware file from your PC which you have downloaded previously in Step 2.

Step 6 : Once sn0wbreeze successfully identify your iOS Firmware, you will be shown a new screen where 3 modes (iFaith, Simple and Expert Modes) option are available. Simply choose the Simple Mode.

Step 7 : Wait for a while, once you see the DONE MESSAGE on your Screen.

Step 9 : Once done, please wait for sometime and Sn0wbreeze will create a custom fimware file that can be restored using the iTunes.

Step 10 : Close the Sn0wbreeze, and open the latest version of iTunes and Find the “Restore” button, but don’t click it.

Step 11 : Press and hold the left SHIFT key on the keyboard and now click on the “Restore button”. This will open a dialog box and will let you choose the .IPSW File.

Step 12 : You need to choose the custom firmware file that was modified by Sn0wbreeze in Step 9 and wait for sometime.

Step 13 : Once done, you iOS Device will restart and you will now see a new Cydia Icon onto your iPhone Springboard.
