How to : Determine iPhone Devices by its Model Number

Now you can determine and identify which iPhone Version do you have just by seeing its model number printed on the back side of your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

There may be certain times when you are confused with the iDevice you have in your hand, especially when you have just started using them, borrowed from a friend or relatives.

Identify iPhone by its Model Number

Check the back of your device, and look for the Model No Value printed there.

Simply check your model number against the following table to see which device you’re holding. The above picture shown is the Back Side of iPhone 5 whose model number is A1428 . So, you should match the model no. with the table provided below.
